The 2009 Civic Coupe is powered by the responsive 140-horsepower 1.8-liter 16-valve SOHC i-VTEC four-cylinder engine. The engine can be teamed with either a smooth-shifting 5-speed automatic or the 5-speed manual gearbox. The 2009 Civic Coupe gets Ultra-Low Emission Vehicle (ULEV-2) rating.
Body and Styling
The 2009 Civic Coupe has been engineered on a high-rigidity unit-body platform and updated with new clear turn signals; new front bumper; new honeycomb front grille; low roofline that enhances aerodynamics; body-colored rear decklid spoiler; multi-link rear suspension; impact-absorbing body-colored bumpers; and three different air inlets. The new 16-inch alloy wheels on EX and EX-L get minimal gap for a street-ready stance.
The rich interior of the 2009 Civic Coupe features luxurious and convenience amenities such as heated front seats (EX-L); two-tier instrument panel; drive-by-wire; steering wheel-mounted audio controls (EX, EX-L); fold-down rear seatback; low-fuel and low-oil pressure indicators; tachometer; power windows; storage bins; and 12-volt power outlet.
New technological features on the 2009 Civic Coupe include new USB Audio Interface on the EX and EX-L, optional Bluetooth Hands-Free Link and Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System with voice recognition.
